Loved it too. Shame it only lasted 3 seasons. It was loosely based around the real Deadwood which didn't last very long either.

SPOILER ALERT

So I know the show discontinued because of monies.. etc. But the last episode literally made me cry. weep. I was hormonal I must admit, but I think I would have cried anyways. I was super pissed! I wanted Herst to get what was comin to him. I hated seeing everyone I love defeated. Not cool. ..

The bad guy won.

so i finished all three seasons so now i'm ready to text about this...

I was quickly drawn into this show due to it's funky Shakespearean type dialogue. It was fun to decipher the meaning of the phrases and the nuance humor behind it.

SwearEngine's conversations with the decapitated native american head were awesome..and sometimes profound.

I was very impressed with all of the characters as each had their own quirks....like Jewel for example, as minor a character as she was, he added lots to the show.

---that being texted....the series ended in fail.....so much left open and sad.
